Fredericktown, Ohio Support Group

For families in the Fredericktown, Ohio area a support group is available for you!  This group is open to all families who have suffered a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death.

We are here to offer support and healing. We want to let you know you are not alone through this difficult journey. We believe that everyone need a place to come and feel like they can talk about their loss with others who have endured a loss similar to theirs.  The group meets on a monthly basis, and also schedules other events through the year to support families and promote awareness.

Betty Daley is the leader of the group, which she started in October of 2009 after realizing the need in her community for an organized support system.  She also hosts the Baby Loss and Healing Annual Memory Walk in Fredericktown.  "I found that there was a need in our community and beyond for this kind of group. There is little to no support out in our area for families who have suffered a loss of this kind. We wanted to be able to reach out to these families and give them the care and support they need to get through this. I have suffered a few losses of my own, so I understand what these families are going through. It doesn't just affect the mommies and daddies, it can also affect the siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and special family friends. My son Caleb was born still in June of 2006. It was a devastating time for our entire household."
